Gods Unchained Singleton Weekly Leaderboard: Ascent Scoring & Stats

How the GWC Gods Unchained (GU) Singleton weekly event leaderboard scores a 30-game Ascent run: rank credit, loss penalties, smoothing and stats.

Singleton Ascent leaderboard and player audits

A fresh leaderboard each active week

Singleton uses decks with no more than one copy of any card. GWC runs a separate Singleton Ascent leaderboard for each scheduled week when the GU mode is active. The displayed UTC start and end dates define that rotation. Each new rotation starts a fresh run; the previous standings remain visible until the next rotation starts, and archived rotations can be selected separately.

Only your first 30 captured Singleton games against opponents at ranks 7–12 count, ordered by finish time and game ID. Games against ranks 1–6 do not consume a run slot. At least 10 counted games with complete rank data are needed to appear. A missing rank keeps its chronological slot and prevents qualification until resolved; later games cannot silently replace an unresolved loss.

Win credit and loss penalties

Opponent ranks 7–8 have a base win value of 40 credit, ranks 9–10 have 70, and ranks 11–12 have 100. Beating rank 12 always earns exactly 100 credit. For other eligible opponents, beating a higher rank than your own earns base × 11 ÷ 12; beating a peer or lower rank earns base × your stored rank ÷ 12. Every eligible loss costs 30 credit. Both players’ stored match ranks determine the calculation.

For example, a rank 8 player beating rank 8 earns 40 × 8 ÷ 12 = 26.67 credit; beating rank 9 earns 70 × 11 ÷ 12 = 64.17; beating rank 11 earns 91.67; and beating rank 12 earns 100. Full precision is retained while summing credit. Net credit is total win credit minus all counted loss penalties.

From credit to Ascent points

Ascent points = max(0, 10 × net credit ÷ (counted games + 10)). A 10-game run with 610 net credit scores 305.00 points. A subsequent rank 12 win changes the total to 710 credit across 11 games, scoring 338.10; a loss then changes it to 680 across 12 games, scoring 309.09. Every counted game increases the denominator, so even a low-credit win can lower your overall score. Displayed scores are rounded to two decimals and ties are ordered by lowest GUID.

The 30-game cap prevents unlimited grinding, and the 10-game smoothing constant tempers small early samples. Strong-opponent wins earn more credit, while the fixed loss penalty makes consistency matter. The maximum score is 750 points from 30 wins worth 100 credit each.
